In a partnership with Sanctuary Lakes Resort, Wyndham Council will host the inaugural mayoral chanty golf day on Thursday 18 October 2007.

Wyndham Mayor Cr Shane Bourke said the event would provide an opportunity for businesses and the community to network and raise money for a worthy cause. All proceeds will go to the Wyndham Lodge aged-care facility building appeal.

"Wyndham Lodge provides tremendous care for frail and elderly residents and the money raised will assist the facility to continue its outstanding service," Cr Bourke said.
