Model boating has
become a popular hobby and we are looking at
establishing a Sanctuary Lakes Model Boat Club.
Discussions have
already been held with other boat clubs who are
interested in a visiting sail, with boats ranging from
yachts to scale models of ocean liners and historic
sailing ships.
The Club would
provide an opportunity for residents who had an interest
in modelling or people just interested in learning about
radio controlled sailing as a family sport.
