Greg Norman is arguably Australia’s greatest ever golfer. His list of professional achievements are legendary, including 86 Career Victories, 2 British Open Championships, 5-time PGA winner for the lowest adjusted scoring average, a World Golf Hall of Fame Inductee, as well as the small matter of being ranked the world best player for over 6 years.

This experience of playing and winning all over the world is shown in his ability to design courses that are enjoyable for all player levels, as well as being environmentally responsible. Norman's hands-on approach was invaluable to the design process, and his company has achieved considerable acclaim since beginning design back in 1987. With the experience of 48 courses worldwide, and another 27 new projects in various stages of completion, the Greg Norman Golf Course Design Company is world renowned for producing superior golfing experiences for all levels of players.

And in the words of Greg Norman himself, when asked what were some of his favourite golf course designs, he responded

"That's a tough question. I will put it this way -- every time I come back from a site, I sit down and say it is going to be one of our best courses. That's how I feel, that every golf course we do is going to be better than the one before.

That being said, there were some projects that I absolutely loved doing. Sanctuary Lakes in Australia was situated on a salt mine on a dead flat piece of land. We had to convert the salt mine into a golf course and residential development, so we came up with an ingenious way of building nine holes outside the mine and the other nine along the saltwater marsh. As the members play the course, they are treated to a dramatic change in the environment.

When I go back there now, 12 years later, it is still just unbelievable to see"
